What is Assisted Living?
The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA) defines an
Assisted Living residence as a special combination of housing, personalized
supportive services and health care designed to meet the needs –both scheduled
and unscheduled--of those who need help with activities of daily living.
At Kipling Manor, family members often see a dramatic improvement in the health and attitude of
their loved one after he or she moves into our assisted living residence.
Consistent, quality meals and increased social involvement are significant
changes for someone who has been living alone. They are specifically designed for
older adults who desire to remain independent, yet require assistance with some
activities of daily living. In addition to offering personalized
assistance, the staff provides dietary, linen and maid services.
As the
burdens and chores associated with daily living are lifted, residents are free
to enjoy social interaction and personal independence. Through participation in
the local community, as well as Kipling sponsored events, residents may be as
active or relaxed as they choose to be.
Modern
facilities and manicured landscaping provide a positive and refreshing
environment to enjoy the retirement years
