Specialty Alzheimer's Care
Alzheimer's care at Kipling Manor is
designed around the specific needs of each resident and is physician
supported. Our program, facilitated by well trained staff, provides care for
all stages and levels of Alzheimer's care. Kipling Manor is an ideal
solution, blending independence and support in a specialized program of 24 hour
care.
Kipling Manor understands Alzheimer's disease and it's challenges and
has programs designed for a continuum of care to benefit residents with
Alzheimer's. Residents live
independently, yet safely, in a comfortable environment that truly
becomes home to them.
Because Alzheimer's and dementia are diseases of memory loss,
physical design of living space is integral to a balanced life. Kipling
Manor can provide a
smaller, more personal space which helps decrease anxiety, confusion and
depression so our residents with advanced Alzheimer's/Dementia are secure in their own
area of our facility. They have their own common area, staff and a
secure patio/fenced outside area for them to enjoy the outdoors in a safe
environment. Customized care helps residents participate in their own lives
and provides opportunities to succeed in areas where the resident can
still perform. As people with Alzheimer's and dementia lose the ability to
learn new things, reaffirming their independence contributes to improved
self esteem and mentally stimulates them. Activities also
help residents feel important and needed.
People with Alzheimer's and dementia progress through various stages
of these diseases, and Kipling Manor's goal is to offer a continuum of
care to help them
maintain function and support positive experiences that contribute to
quality of life.
